The Institute

Of course, we also use modern learning techniques: case studies, simulation games and field trips complete the standard course programme.
Studies
With around 3,600 students, the Technical University of Wildau is the largest university of applied sciences in Brandenburg and one of the strongest research universities in Germany. Since our foundation, we have been contributing to the academic education and training of engineers, economists and social scientists in management positions through our postgraduate programmes. Around 400 alumni from more than 40 countries have graduated from WIT.

We offer the following degree programmes and further education formats:
Master of Aviation Management
The Aviation Management degree programme is a two-year, part-time Master's degree programme in English in Wildau near Berlin, Germany. It covers the areas of Aviation Management, Business Administration & Management and Management & Social Skills and prepares students for careers in aviation.
Master of Science in Library Computer Sciences
The part-time Master's degree programme in Library Computer Sciences lasts two years and provides comprehensive knowledge of Informatics, Programming, Databases, Search Engine Technology, Interfaces & Data Formats, Library Management Systems, IT Management & Data Security and Artificial Intelligence.
Post-graduate training for teachers (mathematics)
The certificate programme in Mathematics SEK I is aimed at teachers who wish to expand their skills in teaching mathematics at lower secondary level. It provides in-depth mathematical expertise and didactic methods to effectively support pupils and design contemporary maths lessons. Duration: 3 semesters

Your studies at the Wildau Institute of Technology are based on the expertise of a strong research university and the experience of an institute for post-graduate education that has been offering international Master programmes for more than ten years. In Wildau you will study at a modern campus university which looks back on an impressive history of locomotive production and heavy machinery construction. Since 2001, the Technical University Wildau has been one of the strongest research universities in Germany and has defined digitalization as its own crosscutting long-term project. In its numerous fields of research, the university places great importance on cooperation with companies and international research institutions. The friendly atmosphere, the individual support, the high-quality equipment of the laboratories as well as computer, internet and library workplaces offer the best conditions for students to successfully complete their studies.
How to find us
Wildau is located on the south-eastern outskirts of Berlin, close to BER airport. The region is a traditional location for the transport industry, especially aviation technology. Wildau has excellent transport links to Berlin and is easy to reach by all means of transport. The Berlin S-Bahn lines S46 and S8 stop directly on the grounds of the Technical University (Wildau S-Bahn station). Both by car and by public transport, Wildau can be reached from Berlin in approx. 45 minutes.
